March Music Madness

Spring is on the way, and our Sunday morning music continues to be upbeat, warm, and personal! Hope you will join us – and spread the word about our wonderful Sunday morning music program!

March 3 – Patrick and Friends

Our church musician, Patrick Martin, brought three of his friends to sing a couple of months ago. All four in the quartet sing in Maine’s Choral Arts. The congregation loved them and has been asking when they will come again!
March 6th (Ash Wednesday) – Cherie Moore on piano with our Adult Choir
Cherie returns as our Ash Wednesday musician and will be playing our hymns and congregational “travel music” as the congregation moves about the sanctuary during the service. The choir will be singing a congregational favorite, “Go Light Your World” by Chris Rice.

March 10 – Adult Choir

Our Adult Choir will be singing once again under Patrick’s direction. They have been working hard on some wonderful pieces, so be sure to come and support them!

March 17 – Patrick Martin

Patrick will be playing our hymns and responses. He will also be cooking up some special music – maybe singing himself, maybe playing the piano, maybe directing a small choir ensemble. Come and see!

March 24 – Aban Zirikly

Aban is one with the music when he plays the piano or the violin. In addition to leading our hymns and responses, Aban will capture our hearts with special music on his primary instruments.

March 31 – Jake Cooper

Jake Cooper, a classical guitar student at USM, will offer our special music. Jake has played for us before, and we welcome him back! Supporting music students and giving them an opportunity to play before an audience is a wonderful ministry!
